I am Rev. Dr. Matt TIttle, recently called minister of Central Unitarian Church in Paramus NJ, where I begin serving on August 1, 2010. Previously, I served the Bay Area Unitarian Universalist Church in Houston, TX for six years. While there, I blogged for the Houston Chronicle for three and a half years at Keep the Faith. I turned that blog over to Houston colleague, Rev. Ellen Cooper-Davis.
This is my new blogging platform. Welcome to The Indefinite Article. As an independent blog site, I have much more freedom than I did at the Houston Chronicle with regard to content and supplemental material. As such, I will grow and enhance this blog over time.
What will you find here? My thoughts about liberal religion, life, faith, and belief. Most importantly, this is a place for dialogue. I look forward to hearing from both my long-time readers along with new readers. The conversation is the point.
Why "The Indefinite Article?" This is the title I wanted for my original blog, but the Chronicle editors rejected it. It is about my approach to liberal religion, and has a story in my interpretation of John 14:6 in the Christian scriptures. That interpretation will be the subject of a future blog post.
Blessings,
Rev. Matt
